Folks has some pretty tasty food, it's comfort food,v it's satisfying, and it's a homely atmosphere. I think that is the reason why there are quite a few retirement aged people frequenting here during the week. The
atmosphere gives you a homely feel, almost like you are in your dining room experiencing a down-home supper. I usually start off with the corn nuggets which are tasty little nuggets of corn with a nice Golden Crust, the fried pork chops and fried chicken are both delicious, the potato salad is good,v and their whipped sweet potatoes are to die for! The desserts are not that good I could pass on any of their desserts. The waitress I had last week, sort of put me in the mind of Flo from Mel's Diner; the sitcom from back in the 80s whereas her attitude was just a bit cocky but she wasn't mean, so I didn't complain. She just needs some more experience in customer service. Other than that I had no complaints.
